Karen Ansara is a passionate advocate for increasing international giving. Along with key partners, she is helping to organize New England International Donors (NEID), an informal network to encourage and support more givers to fund overseas. When she and her husband Jim sold his construction business, they used a significant portion of the proceeds to set up the Ansara Family Fund at the Boston Foundation, focused on addressing global poverty. Bold Conversations is a monthly phone discussion hosted by Anne Ellinger, co-founder of Bolder Giving in Extraordinary Times (www.boldergiving.org).
